Jefferson City Parishes Celebrate the
Completion of Profession of Faith
Look Forward to Year Two of Why Catholic?

Parishes throughout the Diocese of Jefferson City, MO are ready to begin faith-sharing on the second book of the Why Catholic? series, The Celebration of the Christian Mystery: Sacraments. The response to the first book, The Profession of Faith: What We Believe was very enthusiastic, as the participant remarks below illustrate:
“Jesus means: God saves. It reminds me of the reasons why I need to be aware of my belief in God from moment to moment.”

“The more understanding I become and open myself to other’s viewpoints on their faith, the more confident I become to share with others.”
The Parish Team from St. Patrick's Shrine in Laurie, MO organized a "Potluck" to celebrate completion of The Profession of Faith experience.  The banner is a hand-made quilt and each year they change the topic to coincide with the current Why Catholic? theme.
